What is EMIR
A near-infrared multiobject spectrograph designed for the
Nasmyth focus of the 10m Telescope GTC
(Gran Telescopio Canarias).
- Multi-object spectroscopy in the Z, J, H, and K bands
- Intermediate spectral resolution, R=4000 (Z, J, H bands), R=3500 (K band)
- Imaging mode, 6’x6’ FOV, 0.2”/pixel
